Verification limits
Verification records a defined review at a point in time. It is never a universal endorsement or safety guarantee.
What a signal means
A verification signal means only that the stated review scope was completed using the evidence available on the displayed date. Its wording, scope, date, limitations, and expiry must be read together.
What it does not mean
Verification is not an employment decision, safeguarding clearance, doctrinal approval, guarantee of character, promise of performance, proof of availability, or assurance of future conduct.
Unverified profiles
A legitimate public profile may be unverified. Unverified status means the defined verification review is absent, incomplete, expired, or not currently displayed. It does not imply a complaint or negative finding.
Your responsibility
Churches, ministries, institutions, organisers, and individuals remain responsible for their own interviews, references, permissions, risk assessment, safeguarding, contextual discernment, and practical arrangements.
Change and correction
A signal may expire, be corrected, suspended, restored, or removed when its source or review state changes. Report material inaccuracies or concerns through the private concern path rather than publishing allegations.
