Create the public ministry identity you are authorised to manage
Your account is the private access you use to sign in. A ministry talent profile is the distinct public identity for an individual, group, ministry, or institution. One account can manage more than one profile.
You can save a draft, publish a completed profile with an unverified label, or separately submit eligible information for verification review. Registration does not guarantee verification, prominence, requests, payment, or placement.

How registration works
From account access to an actively managed profile

Access your account
Create a Lay Links account or sign in. The account is your private access; each ministry talent profile is a separate public identity you manage.

Choose the profile type
Choose an individual, group, ministry, or institution profile. One account may manage more than one profile where authorised.

Describe the ministry identity
Add the profile identity, ministry focus, location, languages, biography, affiliations, and relevant organisation details.

Add supporting information
Add team members where applicable, public media links you are authorised to share, and suitable ministry references.

Review and save
Review the information. Save a draft to continue later, or complete the required fields before publishing.

Choose public visibility
Publish the profile as unverified when ready. A public unverified profile can appear in the directory with a clear unverified notice.

Request verification separately
Submit complete information and suitable referee details for a separate Lay Links verification review. Submission does not mean the profile is verified.

Keep the profile current
Use the dashboard to maintain profile information, media, availability, verification details, feedback, and booking requests.
Prepare before you begin
Gather the information for the result you want
Draft creation, public publication, and verification review have different requirements. Optional media and profile details can be added as the profile develops.
Start and save a draft
To create the initial draft, choose a profile type and provide a public display name. You can continue adding information from the dashboard.
Publish the profile
Before public publication, prepare a short tagline, a fuller biography, city, country, at least one ministry category, and at least one language.
Submit for verification review
For verification review, first complete the publication information and add two suitable, distinct referees who have agreed to be contacted. Lay Links may request further information during review.
For every profile type
- Account holder contact details and authority to manage the profile.
- The public display name and the correct profile type.
- Country, city, and relevant church, conference, field, ministry, or institution affiliation.
- A concise public tagline and a fuller biography or organisation description.
- Ministry categories, topics, intended audiences, and languages.
- Public media or portfolio links that you are authorised to share.
- Two suitable, distinct referees who have agreed that Lay Links may contact them if you intend to request verification.
- An appropriate profile image that you have permission to publish; it can be added after the profile is created.
- Confirmation that profile information and media chosen for publication may be publicly visible and indexed according to the selected visibility state.
For groups, ministries, and institutions
- The primary contact's name and authority to manage the organisation profile.
- The organisation's ministry identity, focus areas, services, and public description.
- Team-member names, roles, and whether each member may appear publicly.
- The organisation's public contact pathway and relevant affiliations.
