Lay Links supports public ministry profiles, fit-first discovery, profile administration, trust explanations, and coarse availability guidance. A public profile, search result, trust signal, or availability state is not a guarantee of suitability, safety, availability, or agreement for a ministry context.

Accounts And Eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure, and use Lay Links only for lawful ministry-related purposes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should notify us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

Profile Responsibility

Profile owners are responsible for keeping profile claims, affiliations, contact details, media links, team information, and references accurate and authorised. Lay Links may request changes, limit visibility, or suspend content when information is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these terms.

Public Content

By publishing profile content, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it and allow Lay Links to display it for directory, discovery, verification, and booking purposes. You retain ownership of your content.

Verification

Verification reflects the review steps completed by Lay Links at a particular time. It is not an endorsement, employment decision, safeguarding clearance, theological guarantee, or promise of future conduct. Churches and organisers remain responsible for their own assessment and safeguarding processes.

Availability And Engagement Decisions

Public availability is guidance and does not create a booking, acceptance, commitment, or agreement. Organisers and profile owners remain responsible for confirming authority, purpose, timing, suitability, safeguarding requirements, expenses, permissions, and practical arrangements through the applicable engagement process.

Acceptable Use

You may not impersonate others, submit false references, scrape or misuse personal data, interfere with platform security, send spam, upload or link to unlawful content, harass users, or use Lay Links in a way that could cause harm to people, ministries, or the service.

Third-Party Services And Links

Profiles may link to external media and Lay Links relies on independent hosting, authentication, database, and email providers. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, or transactions outside Lay Links.

Service Changes And Account Action

We may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service and may remove content or accounts to protect users, comply with law, investigate concerns, or enforce these terms. We will use reasonable judgement when doing so.

Disclaimers And Liability

Lay Links is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lay Links does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy, suitability, or conduct of any user or profile, and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
